Show Review

The hypnotic Dr. Scott Lewis

Staff Report

Chiropractor turned hypnotist, Dr. Scott Lewis combines his love of both in his show at Riviera's Le Bistro Theater.

Lewis originally wanted to be a magician, but found out he was terrible at it. He came to Vegas in 1987 to work as a magician's assistant in "Splash," but lasted only a month.

Then, before he started college, Lewis was in a car accident, after which he saw a chiropractor. He later got a degree in that subject. While training in hypnotism for his day job, he saw the opportunity for use his talents for the stage.

On a trip abroad, Lewis tried out his hypnotic show. It was a success. He returned to Vegas and eventually got a contract with the Riviera.
